PURCHASING ASSISTANT

Purchasing Assistant needed in Roseville to support managers and a purchasing department. This is a temporary position for approximately three to four months, or longer. This is a 40-hour position, Monday through Friday. Qualified candidates are being considered immediately.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering and making phone calls, sending emails, and documenting updates.

• Creating spreadsheets for cost changes and submitting for approval. 

• Exporting information from system and preparing contract submissions.

• Updating Purchasing documents in MS Excel, Word, and in PDF form.

• Running weekly reports for trades and distributing them via email.

• Maintain cordial working relationships with vendors.

• Accessing information in various Web-based programs.

• May assist with Insurance compliance for trades.

Must have strong organizational skills and be self-motivated to accomplish tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

• Basic Excel skills for creating spreadsheets and managing cost changes.

• Familiarity with Word and PDF for updating purchasing documents.

• Ability to access information in various web-based programs.

• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.

Pay Range: $26-$28

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
