TRAINER - HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECT HIRE
CURRICULUM TRAINER needed for a large Association in Roseville, to join their team in assessing training needs, coordinating, developing, implementing, and conducting training programs for member agencies. This is a 40-hour DIRECT HIRE position with a full time, flexible, HYBRID schedule. State-wide travel is required in this role. Qualified candidates are being considered immediately.
Responsibilities

Plans & implements training activities
-
Develops, facilitates, & coordinates in-person & virtual training courses & programs including HR, supervisor development, & risk management topics

Organizes, develops, and/or obtains course outlines, training workbooks, job aids, & course materials
-
Evaluates all training materials & assists in developing/updating materials
-
Source, schedule, & coordinate trainings & conferences; negotiate venue contracts, & coordinate events
-
Maintains & develops training expertise by surveying literature & attending relevant seminars & meetings
-
Assists and consults staff in effective training techniques, adult learning, design of materials and job aids, etc.

Provides program assessments & evaluations; focus groups, surveys, & individual interviews; provide recommendations
Other

Identifies resources and links to include on website

Assists with development of training catalog & Program Manuals

Writes marketing content for training programs

Coordinates Training Dept & other staff during member events

Prepares and creates reports & presentations
Preferred
-
Adult learning process, instructional design theory & training methodologies; communication processes, group dynamics, meeting facilitation

Knowledge of principles & procedures of personnel recruitment, training, laws, practices in public sector

Knowledge of relevant policies & procedures to promote effective risk management/safety-related programs & activities
-
Knowledge of business & management principles involved in succession planning, resource allocation, & HR modeling.

Effective communication, facilitation, training & presentation skills for in-person & on-line delivery

MS Office, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Premiere, Illustrator, &/or Photoshop preferred, Canva. Zoom & Teams
Ability to

Drive personal vehicle for business travel requirements: 35% Travel in CA

Develop, present, & coordinate logistics of all training programs

Establish & maintain effective communications regarding training & risk management programs

Maintain expertise in training, safety, & risk management

Write articles & design materials for courses or publications
Salary $89k to $129k
Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
