ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST - Hybrid

Accounts Payable Specialist need for a large manufacturer in the Dixon area. This is a full-time, 40-hour, temp to hire, hybrid position, for the right person who can process full cycle accounts payable in a fast-paced environment. Attendance is critical in this role. Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment with minimal guidance. The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter, a creative problem solver, with strong organizational skills.

DUTIES

• Assist with full cycle Accounts Payable process, including Invoice review, GL coding, Check Disbursements, through resolution

• Ensure timely receipt and posting of all disbursement batches

• Assist with AP month and quarter-end close

• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including SOX testing, validation and documentation

• Assist with annual audit requests

REQUIREMENTS

• Associates degree in related field with 3+ year’s related experience; or equivalent combination

• Sound understanding of accounting principles and strong analytical skills

• Finance and Accounting related certifications and designations a plus

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, and Excel and working knowledge of financial systems; SAP is a plus

• Strong customer-service orientation and ability to manage relationships with internal and external entities

• Strong verbal, written, and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with other teams

• Strong organization skills; detail oriented; high degree of accuracy

• Maintain a strong attention to detail; ability to concentrate for long periods; produce very high quality work

Pay Range: $26-$28

A comprehensive benefits package, including a 401k matching plan is available once hired.

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
